This Privacy Policy explains how Kinora ("Kinora", "the Service", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website and its photo-to-video service.

By using Kinora, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account information

To create an account, we collect your email address and a password, or — if you continue with Telegram — your Telegram account ID and the basic profile details Telegram shares with our bot, such as your name and username. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

1.2 Photos, prompts & clips

  • The photos you upload and the descriptions (prompts) you write.
  • The clips created from them, with the quality and length you chose.
  • Your Credit balance, Kinora Pro status, and a record of the Credit you received and spent.

1.3 Purchase data

Credit and Kinora Pro purchases are processed by PayPal (including cards entered in PayPal's own form), by VietQR bank transfer through SePay, or with Telegram Stars. We receive the status, amount, and transaction identifiers of your order or subscription — never your card number or your bank or PayPal login.

1.4 Information collected automatically

  • Technical data — IP address, browser and operating system, language, and the time of each request, as recorded by our servers.
  • Browser storage — your sign-in session and a few site preferences (see Section 4).
  • Usage data — pages viewed, browser and device details, and approximate location (country, city), measured by Google Analytics for Firebase and linked to your account ID when you are signed in.

1.5 Information we do not collect

Kinora does not collect precise location, contacts, health data, government IDs, or card and bank account numbers. We do not show ads and do not track you across other websites.

2. How We Use Information

  • To run the Service: create your clips, keep them in My Clips, and manage your account.
  • To process and deliver your Credit and Kinora Pro purchases and renewals.
  • To send the emails the Service needs — email confirmation, password reset, and Kinora Pro renewal reminders.
  • To answer your support requests.
  • To understand how the site is used, and improve it.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, content that breaks our rules, and security and technical issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

We use trusted third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy and may independently process data as described below.

  • AI video-generation provider — receives your photo and prompt to render your clip.
  • Content-moderation service — may check photos and prompts for adult or sensitive content before rendering.
  • PayPal — PayPal and card payments, and Kinora Pro subscriptions.
  • SePay — VietQR bank-transfer payments.
  • Telegram — sign-in with Telegram and payments with Telegram Stars.
  • Hosting and email providers — store the Service's data and files, and deliver its emails.
  • Google Analytics for Firebase — measures how the site is used (see Section 1.4).

4. Cookies & Browser Storage

Kinora does not show ads and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Google Analytics for Firebase sets its own first-party cookies on this site to measure how it is used; its advertising features are turned off. We also keep a few items in your browser's local storage so the site works, including:

  • Your sign-in session — removed when you sign out.
  • Your language choice, and whether you have seen the welcome screen.
  • PayPal's checkout may set its own cookies when you open a payment page, under PayPal's privacy policy.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

  • With the service providers listed in Section 3, acting on our behalf.
  • To comply with law, legal process, or valid governmental requests.
  • To protect the rights, safety, and property of Kinora, our users, or the public.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

6. Data Retention

  • Photos you upload and the clips made from them are deleted automatically after the period shown in My Clips. Removing a clip from My Clips hides it from your account straight away.
  • Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Purchase and Credit records are kept for as long as accounting, legal, and fraud-prevention obligations require.
  • Data held by the providers in Section 3 is retained according to each provider's own retention periods.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (such as encryption in transit) to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Kinora is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing (e.g., under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA).

  • EEA/UK (GDPR): You may exercise data subject rights and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale"/"sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

10. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by a notice on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
