Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Kinora ("Kinora", "the Service", "we", "us", or "our"), a website that turns your photos into short video clips. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Kinora. If you are a minor, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. License to Use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Kinora for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law.

3. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
  • One account per person — creating multiple accounts to collect sign-up Credit or abuse promotions is a violation of these Terms.

4. Your Photos, Prompts & Clips

  • You keep the rights you have in the photos you upload. You allow us to store and process them, and to send them to our providers, only to create your clips and run the Service.
  • Only upload photos you have the right to use. Do not upload a photo of another person without their permission.
  • Clips are generated by AI and may not match your description exactly. We do not guarantee any particular result.
  • You may download and share the clips you create. You are responsible for how you use them, and must not use them to deceive, impersonate, harass, or defame anyone.
  • Photos and clips are deleted automatically after the period shown in My Clips. Download anything you want to keep.

5. Credit, Kinora Pro & Virtual Items

  • Credit is a virtual currency used on Kinora, with no real-world monetary value. It cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or refunded for real money, except as required by applicable law.
  • Each clip costs Credit, and the price is shown before you create it. If a render fails, its Credit is returned automatically. Credit is not returned for a clip that was created and later removed.
  • Kinora Pro adds bonus Credit each billing period and member prices on Credit packs, as described on the Kinora Pro page.
  • Unused Credit or an unused Kinora Pro period has no cash value and does not carry over upon account termination.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

  • Purchases are paid through PayPal (with a PayPal account or a card in PayPal's own form), by VietQR bank transfer through SePay, or with Telegram Stars. The price is shown before you pay.
  • Kinora Pro paid with PayPal or a card is a subscription that renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel on the Kinora Pro page or in your PayPal account, and you keep Kinora Pro until the end of the period you paid for. A cancelled subscription cannot be resumed, but you can subscribe again.
  • Kinora Pro paid by VietQR or Telegram Stars covers one period and does not renew. Paying again extends it.
  • If you were charged but did not receive what you paid for, or were charged in error, contact us and we will deliver it or refund it. Other refunds are handled as required by applicable law and the rules of the payment method you used.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload photos or write prompts that are sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or otherwise illegal.
  • Create clips that impersonate, deceive, harass, or defame others, or that infringe anyone's rights.
  • Use bots, scripts, or other automation to access the Service, or exploit bugs in Credit, payments, or promotions instead of reporting them.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or circumvent the Service's security systems.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.

We may refuse or remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts for violations.

8. Third-Party Services

Kinora does not show ads. The Service relies on third parties, including an AI video-generation provider, PayPal, SePay, Telegram, and Google Analytics for Firebase. These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies; see our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its name "Kinora", logo, and software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that a clip will match what you described.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Kinora AND ITS PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kinora and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, the content you upload or create, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any lawful reason. You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by a notice on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service provider is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country provide otherwise.
